March 16, 2011 - Same Week Subject + Daily Plans

A fix has been implemented to allow Daily and Subject lesson plans to better co-exist within the same week. Previously, in some instances, creating both in the same week could cause a mis-match between the two types of lesson plans. This shouldn’t happen now.

Also, some minor formatting enhancement have been made to the Lesson Plan.

January 28, 2011 - AR CTE Marketing Standards

The Arkansas Marketing CTE standards have been updated to allow you to click on both the knowledge and the application standards. These standards were re-entered from scratch to make sure both skills were able to add to lesson plans, so it will likely affect your standards usage reporting. If you are wanting to run reports showing standards usage that tie back to the lesson plans where the standard was taught, you will need to go into each of your past lesson plans and re-attach your standards. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes our Marketing teachers. Our goal is always to minimize the affects on past lessons when we make updates to standards, but this was an unavoidable outcome. If you would like some assistance in reattaching your standards, just email us, and we will be glad to reattach them for you.

Thanks to Jackie in El Dorado for letting us know these standards were not entered correctly.

September 6, 2010 - Template Changes

At My Lesson Planner, we are always looking for ways to further streamline the lesson planning process.

In the past, your Lesson Plan Templates showed up in your calendar and history right along with your other Lesson Plans. Some teachers were inadvertently making changes to these templates or moving/copying them for use elsewhere in their lesson planning – not realizing this affected the template.

In order to reduce confusion, your Lesson Plan templates will no longer show up on the calendar or in your history. They are all now listed on the “Manage” in the Lesson Plan section. So, if you need to make a change to your template, start by going to the Manage tab and you can edit your template from there.
