MaxCDN – Content Delivery Network Services

by / Tuesday, 09 July 2013 / Published in News

Our website utilize many different types of technology and methodologies to provide you with the best service possible. One of those services is a CDN, or Content Delivery Network. A CDN is a network of servers around the world which have a copy of our website, so when you visit the website, the CDN delivers the files from the closest server located to you.

Here is a small map that shows the locations of some of the servers we are using across the United States.

When we set out to pick a CDN, we analyzed and reviewed several before settling on MaxCDN, and we've been very happy with that decision. We've had zero down-time, their customer service is fast to respond, they care about the security of our accounts, and their management tools and dashboard are a pleasure to use.

We currently utilize MaxCDN for all our Images, JavaScript, and CSS files, and they provide us with all the usage analysis and reporting we need to make sure you are getting the best lesson planning experience possible.

Here is snapshot of one of the many reports available to our I/T team.

We are constantly working to add new features and improve the performance of our website. If you ever have any questions about the technologies we use behind-the-scenes, or would like to request a new feature, idea, or suggestion - please don't hesitate to contact us!
